2023 By The Numbers

While numbers and metrics aren't "THE" way to take the temperature of a church, they are certainly "A" way.

Check out these slides to see some fantastic details about finances, partnership & involvement, generosity,  and more.

2024 & Beyond

Although we're looking back on 2023, we're also full steam ahead into 2024 and looking excitedly towards the future.

There's a few slides in here, as well, of things that are "Now Playing"  and some "Coming Attractions". The horizon is bright and we hope you're ready to join us!

2023 Special Events & More

EVENTS // LifePointe has four flagship events we do annually to create a friendly atmosphere and connect people from our community. These events include Fall Fun Getaway at the Rockahock Campground, the BIG Cook Off, Food Trucks On The Farm, and the Chilly Bowl.

LIFEGROUPS // LifeGroups have grown year over year, increasing from 22 groups at the end of 2022 to 37 groups at the start of the 2024 Spring semester and our overall registrations have increased by 70 from last year. Dozens of new-to-LifePointe people join a LifeGroup within the first month of attending and over 70% of our teenage & adult congregants attend LifeGroups. Nearly half of our 50 group leaders are co-leading or leading for the very first time and ALL of our leaders receive weekly training & encouragement, meeting twice a year for the ‘‘LifeGroup Rally’’, an appreciation & training dinner.

TEAMS // Minstry Team & Volunteers are the very fiber of what helps make things happen here at LifePointe. LifePointe has added three new Teams in the past year - Parking, Facilities, and Vehicle. In Starting Pointe, we connect people with their Next Step and encourage them to join a LifeGroup or serve on a Team. Because of the variety of Teams we have, people of various ages serve in various ministries throughout the church.

ALL IN SUNDAY // All In Sunday is when people come forward to Partner with the church, and the church comes alongside to further Partner with them. Not everyone who goes to LifePointe is a Partner. For the church, it is an encouragement to see others raise their flag of faith, stand before them, and declare, “I want to be a part of this church family and join them as they worship Jesus and seek to change the world!” In 2023, 79 people became Partners with LifePointe, not including those baptized here.

STARTING POINTE // Last year, 78 people attended Starting Pointe. Many of them are now serving, attending LifeGroups, and Partnering with LifePointe. Starting Pointe, a 90-minute event that happens four times a year is a new attender's next step. We give attendees free childcare and a gift bag, give them time to connect with Elders and Staff and tell them about what God is doing through this church.

LCCYM / NextGen Ministry

"My first year on staff with LifePointe has been sich a fun ride. In 2023, God blessed the NextGen ministry with about a dozen baptisms, along with dozens of new teens and young adults checking out our programming for the first time. We've celebrated new adult leaders coming on-board, as well! I can't waint for what the rest of 2024 has in store with all the events and activities LifePointe hosts for young people to connect with Jesus."
- Reed Smith, NextGen Minister

KidPointe - Nursery, Preschool & Elementary ages

This year in KidPointe we have seen very healthy growth in our small groups, volunteers, and events.  We celebrated Christmas and Easter together with Easter Jam and Jingle Jam.  We hosted over 200 children at VBS, took over 20 fourth and fifth graders to the SuperStart Preteen Convention, and filled over 275 boxes for Operation Christmas Child.  We celebrated 27 KidPointe baptisms of kids and volunteers this past year.
