LifePointe's mission is to CONNECT people to Jesus and to like-minded believers, to help them GROW in relationship with Jesus and with others, and to SERVE one another, their church family, and the community around them. The OUTREACH Ministry helps identify ways for our church family to make an impact in the COMMUNITY by highlighting service opportunities. From distributing food at local food banks to helping with the homeless community to donating Christmas gifts to needy kids and families, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved in sharing grace, hope, and the love of Jesus.
As you consider how you can get involved with the Outreach Ministry, consider the opportunities listed below.  Click on each opportunity to find out more details. If you have questions about becoming more involved with the Outreach Ministry, please fill out the contact form at the bottom of the page and someone will reach out to you.
Throughout the year, LifePointe will be selecting a local organization each month and encouraging you to donate specific items that will help them continue their mission. Look for the big gray bin in the Gathering Space each week and drop your items there. Each month, we'll highlight an organization, what they do, and how your donations will help. Check out the upcoming months below...

APRIL

Did you know that April is Autism Awareness Month? Please consider donating sensory friendly fidget toys for the month of April. We will be collecting items for special education programs, non-profits, and counseling centers in our community! Autism fidget toys, including items like fidget spinners or pop-its, are great tools often used to support self-regulation and focus. Fidget toys can help reduce anxiety, improve concentration, and even strengthen fine motor skills! Donations can be dropped in the Big Gray Bin in the church lobby. Thanks so much!

Thanks from Care Net for IOTM

Hey there everyone, this is Kyndal, your favorite Director of Worship & Compassion here at LifePointe! We just wanted to share how much Care Net was touched by the Outreach item collection of Diaper Bags recently! We had one of the biggest diaper bag collections Care Net had ever received! Diaper bags are a rare donation and yet a highly needed item for new parents. The staff were so excited to fill these diaper bags and bless women who come through Care Net in need! Your donations helped make an impact to moms, their babies, and for Christ- so thank you! Here is a letter of appreciation sent in by Care Net to show their huge thanks as well!
Dear LifePointe Church,

On behalf of everyone at Care Net, I would like to thank you for organizing a diaper bag donation drive for Care Net! The diaper bags you gave were such a blessing! Your faithful support is such an encouragement to us as we serve local women and provide the help & hope they need to choose life for their baby.

Because of your donations, we will be able to reach even more women in our community who greatly need support and encouragement. Our clinic is reaching more women this year than ever before. Last year, we saw over 240 women choose life for their babies and 25 make a profession of faith. Through your generosity and God’s grace, we can’t wait to see those numbers continue to climb!

Again, we are so thankful for the generosity and confidence you have un us. Together, we make a difference to many women and families in life-changing ways!

Sincerely,
Anne Sych
Director of Development at Care Net
