LifePointe's mission is to CONNECT people to Jesus and to like-minded believers, to help them GROW in relationship with Jesus and with others, and to SERVE one another, their church family, and the community around them. The OUTREACH Ministry helps identify ways for our church family to make an impact in the COMMUNITY by highlighting service opportunities. From distributing food at local food banks to helping with the homeless community to donating Christmas gifts to needy kids and families, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved in sharing grace, hope, and the love of Jesus.
As you consider how you can get involved with the Outreach Ministry, consider the opportunities listed below.  Click on each opportunity to find out more details. If you have questions about becoming more involved with the Outreach Ministry, please fill out the contact form at the bottom of the page and someone will reach out to you.
In 2023, LifePointe will be selecting a local organization each month and encouraging you to donate specific items that will help them continue their mission. Look for the big blue bin in the Gathering Space each week and drop your items there. Each month, we'll highlight an organization, what they do, and how your donations will help. Check out the upcoming months below...

For the month of February, LifePointe's Outreach Team is collecting food items to help support the Weekend Meal Bag program at J Blaine Blayton Elementary School in Williamsburg. This program helps LBBES students by providing food to needy children each weekend. Stop by the Food Pantry stand in the church lobby to grab a slip or two with food items listed. Bring them back each week in February and we'll deliver all of the items at the end of the month.

If you have any questions about the February collection or how to get connected with the outreach team, please fill out the form below.

March’s item of the month will be a food drive for the Bridges of Change pantry. Crockpot Meals (New dates to be announced soon)

The Crock-Pot Meal Ministry is a partnership between LifePointe, multiple local organizations, and local motel management to supply hot, self-made meals for sheltered homeless families locally. Families receive a new CrockPot, CrockPot liners, instructions, recipes, basic kitchen items, and meal ingredients for two meals for each family, every other week.

On December 14th, LifePointe has committed to providing 46 meals for families living in local hotels here in the Williamsburg area. These families already have CrockPots, but need someone to deliver meal ingredients to be prepared in their room.

- Click the sign up link to access the registration page;
- Choose a hotel to deliver the meal items to;
- Choose a CrockPot recipe, purchase the ingredients, print the recipe, and put it all in a bag - one meal per bag;
- Label the outside of the bag with "CrockPot Meals”;
- Then deliver the bag(s) to the motel office according to the directions.
