Come out to the church campus from 4:00 -7:00 pm and enjoy games and food and witness some GREAT cooks submit some GREAT food and win some GREAT prizes with the LifePointe family.
LifePointe is providing hot dogs and drinks, and we ask that you bring sides and desserts to share. Bring your camping chairs, shade tents, and your favorite yard games, too! Visit inside later in the evening for round table conversations in the Student Center and a concert by Brian Elder in the Auditorium.
Just like past Cook Offs, we'll have several categories of cooking competition. This year's categories are:
Pulled Pork, Smoked Poultry, Salad, Casserole (of any kind), Best Veggie, and Bread.
And BRAND NEW this year is a KIDS CATEGORY where the food is made by kids and judged by kids!
The categories included are: Cookies and Cupcakes.
All competition categories will be limited to 10 entries.

We'll even have LIVE music by Brian Elder! Brian is a Christian artist, actor, and filmmaker, as well as a singer / songwriter with music that ranges across multiple genres from Christian Rock to Country. Brian currently performs at churches around the Tidewater area, recently performed on a prison ministry tour in Florida, and was most recently a performer at Busch Gardens Williamsburg.
